    I am having issues uninstalling ARK survival windows 10 version


    My son and I sometimes play ark together but he has limited space on his laptop so he will remove and reinstall the game periodically. Recently he went to remove the game but it has failed to uninstall. We have been able to remove a few of the DLC packs
    but one DLC and the main game will not uninstall. We go through he process but get an error code 0x80080204 and it tells me to try again later. The game still seems too run fine. We installed the game through the game pass app and we tried to uninstall through
    it as well, along with right clicking the app in the side bar menu and selecting that uninstall option. We have also tried using the older uninstall option via the control panel.

    Any thoughts on what this might be? It's taking a up a huge chunk of his SSD so we need to be able to remove it.

    hello there and thank you for coming to the forums, sorry to hear you are having some problems getting Ark to load up.

    i dont know too much when it comes to pc gaming but i did find a link that could possibly help it gives multiple things to do to get it working with windows 10 -> Ark

    If this is the Windows 10 store version, I'd first try to reset the app by going to settings > Apps and then finding Ark in the list. From there click it and select Advanced Options. On that page will be a button to "Reset" the app.

    What are the specs of the computer you're trying to run it on? That might have something to do in terms of compatibility.

    Hi Hüseyin_572,

    I believe that Ark Survival Evolved is not a cross platform game. I understand you and your friend are using Windows 10 but there is no cross play with Ark Survival Evolved between Xbox GamePass Beta and Steam.

    Its been over a month for me and I am still not able to download any version of ark off windows store. steam version works perfectly fine. windows 10 has issues acquiring license.. what gives?!

    I've literally tried every troubleshooting step you can find on the internet.

    redownloaded store

    uninstalled/reinstalled

    command lined

    all of this to no avail..
