I am demanding a refund of Minecraft.

Requiring me to hook my computer up to my Microsoft account to play Minecraft was a slap in the face, and then forcing me to port my Mojang account was pissing on my face and telling me it was raining. I don't want Microsoft to be ruining my RAM speeds, which are already twice the clocking time of XP, by constantly spying on my stuff and sending everyone my data. The fact that you thought that was acceptable is proof that everyone responsible for Windows Vista and beyond is an actual psychopath.

As such, I am formally demanding a refund for Minecraft, which I acquired years before you bought the rights. The rules about being allowed to play this game have changed, and I do not consent to these rules, because they are openly hostile to anyone with a conscience or a brain.

I've been waiting for you to reverse course. You have not. I finally decided to migrate my account so that I can get my refund, because I am patently refusing to touch this product that you have infected with 20 kinds of cancer ever again.

Thanks for ruining yet another good thing in the computing world.

Hey, problem with that link: I can't refund a game I bought years ago. Again, prior to your company acquiring the rights.

The problem is the new system, which has made it impossible to play the game without ruining my computer. If it can no longer be used, but I can't use the normal setup for a refund...

After submitting your request, the refund webform team will accommodate your refund within 72 hours.

Note: After the refund has been processed, it will take 3 - 5 business days to reflect the refunded amount on your payment method depending on your bank/financial institution.

The next possible refund option you have is to contact your bank/financial institution for a refund request due to the account migration decision made by Mojang however since the purchase happened a year ago, the chances may be slim.

The only best option you have is to contact the game developer Mojang for a possible refund compensation demand. You can also include your feedback regarding the account migration in your ticket request.

The above posters are correct--all purchases on the Marketplace are final. That being said, let's see if we can't resolve your issue. What seems to be the issue exactly? Are you unable to sign-in before playing the game? Please provide as much detail as

Many thanks for that, on my bank statement it says 'Microsoft/xbox' in brackets, so I naturally assumed it was associated. After doing a little research it looks like it's a 'company' in Colombia.
