I am being charged for Xbox Live Gold and Ultimate Game Pass. How do I fix this?

I upgraded to game pass ultimate but being charged for both game pass ultimate & live gold

I did buy xbox game pass after buying xbox gold and i did this before the expiry of earlier subscription. But i haven't been charged for xbox live gold but do charged for game pass ultimate.

Is this Xbox Game Pass Ultimate or Xbox Game Pass for Console?

If this is Xbox Game Pass Ultimate you can proceed in turning on the recurring billing for the Xbox Live Gold because your remaining Xbox Live Gold time will be converted to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate since Xbox Game Pass Ultimate is consist of Xbox Live Gold as well.

I have a related question. I had xbox hame pass ultimate but it recently expired and as there were no interesting games out, i reverted to Xbox live gold for 12 months. Now my question is

If i again try and sign up for game pass ultimate how does it work. I have 12 months of gold, does i get it converted again to ultimate lime the initial offer or am I charged a monthly over and above the remaining months (as it says it will convert gold
upto 36 months)
