    Hi,

    Firstly I understand your frustration with this person, but don't panic.

    Things YOU NEED TO DO:

    • Block the user. Do not send them any messages or join them in any Live Parties
    • You can can, if you need to, put your profile to appear offline.
    • Contact your ISP and ask them to give your connection a new IP address.

    While you can try resetting your router there is no guarantee you'll be given a new IP address, this why I advise you to call your ISP.

    The enforcement team can only take action on things done on the Live service. They can't see the attacks being done since they are done through your internet. They'll still investigate him and if they see that he has done something to violate the code
    of conduct/terms of service, they will issue the appropriate enforcement.

    There's nothing Microsoft can do, You'll need to block and report the person. And on your router, change your admin passwords for safety, and on most routers, it has DDoS Mitigation under security. Your next step would also to be to contact your ISP and
    inform them of the situation, so they can change your IP.

    it best to tell your Internet Provider. Ask them to reboot you cable modem, router to check its system. request a new dynamic IP address or if you on a biz program request a new static IP address.
