    i always get booted offline when playing small games


    when i play small games like monopoly plus or zoo tycoon with my friends i can never play with them because i constantly get disconnected from Xbox live, its starting too get really annoying, any help?

    Hi, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

    Kindly perform an extended powercycle and reset your network hardware by following the steps below:

    1. Unplug the power cable from the back of the router, modem, or gateway for 5 minutes. If you have a router and a modem, unplug the power cable from both devices.

    2. Press and hold the Xbox button on your console for 10 seconds or until it turns off then wait for 2 minutes before turning it on again.

    3. After 5 minutes, plug the modem or gateway in first, and wait for all the lights to return to their normal state.

    4. If you are using a router, plug in the router and wait for all the lights to return to their normal state.

    Thank you for the update. In this case, we may need to reset the console keeping your games and apps. Don't worry because as long as you're connected to Xbox Live your saved progress, games, will not be deleted. It will remove all of your accounts but you can add all of them later on.

    Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

    Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

    Select Reset console.

    Reset and keep my games & apps.

    ive done all of these multiple times and nothing works its been happening for months i think its an xbox problem but im not sure

    Why don't you try to go offline (in your network settings) before you play. If you are offline then the game will not be aware of an update and not force you to update it so you can get on playing it. Make sure that you always boot the game into story
    mode automatically too.

    Why can't Treyarch do this?

    first of all vegas always gave a small amount of xp when playing offline game modes like terrorist hunt and so forth you never got anywhere near the amount for playing online, I just think they should all be linked in some way. If the game is a glitch free
    game then why worry about ranking up offline?
