I already bought Minecraft years ago, how do I get on it now?

I bought Minecraft from Mojang. I had a Mojang account, and I have the email receipt. I hadn't played since before Microsoft bought it. So, how do I use my Mojang credentials to add the game to my Microsoft account? I would really prefer not to buy it again, since I already bought it. I even registered it under a hotmail account, but it's not linked to that Microsoft account. I'm not seeing any instructions on how to proceed. Is there anything to do? Or do I need to contact customer support?

Edit: nevermind, I found out that there was a way, and now there's not, sucks.

I'm sorry you're experiencing these issues.

Owners of older versions of Minecraft were required to complete the migration process to a Microsoft account, which was available from 2020 to 2023. Mojang announced that users who did not complete this process would unfortunately be unable to continue using the game unless they purchased it from the Microsoft Store.

Years ago I bought the Xbox version of Minecraft. Now I have Game Pass Ultimate & its not on PC version of the pass & never bought the PC version on any storefront. Now when I look at Windows 10 store it says Install or Buy to Own. Do I have Minecraft
on PC or not? I dont wanna buy the game again if I already own it on PC, especially when I already own it on console.

Let's try logging out from the Minecraft launcher first, then log in with your new Microsoft account, please don't use your old Mojang account login details. You will need to click the "Go back" button on the login screen then click "Add account" and then choose "Microsoft login."
