I added a gift to the wrong account

Hello,

I have two windows account a professional one and a private one. A friend of mine offered me a gift (a video game), but it has been added by default to my professional account and not to my private one although, on this computer, I am connected to my private
account. Is there a way for me to transfer the gift from one account to the other?

Thanks for posting on the Xbox forums. We understand that you friend sent a gift to the wrong Microsoft account. Usually, you will receive a prepaid code for the item by email when someone sends you a gift. That means you can use the code on whichever
account you own. Was the code already redeemed to the professional account instead of the private one? We have a support article that provides

You can try contacting support to see if they can do anything, but otherwise, nothing can be transferred between accounts. http://support.xbox.com/contact-us You can check
to see if the skins give the option to purchase as a gift and purchase them with the mother-in-law's account for the kids, but skins may not give that option.
