Hi, I hope you're doing great out there.

I'm Wille, an Independent advisor and I am here to help you with your concern.

This option permanently removes data from a hard drive (HD) or solid state drive (SSD). Generally, deleted information cannot be recovered.

Anyway, I would need some information to investigate and verify that there really is nothing to do. Please reply:

What is the make and model of your motherboard?

Where was the option that in the BIOS? What is her exact name?

What operating system did you have previously installed?

With that information, I'll have more detail and be able to tell you if there's an additional method to recover your system, or if you'll have to do a clean install.

    Awaiting your reply. Hugs!

    Additionally, you can download:

    Windows 10 - https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-downlo...

    Windows 11 - https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-downlo...

    From another PC, Use media creation option and choose Flash drive to create bootable USB;

Once created, just boot through your Asus motherboard, usually the F8 key and proceed with the clean install.

Note: All data on the pen drive will be erased. If necessary, back up your data.

Hoping that everything works out for the best.

I hope I helped you. Hugs!

you need to download windows media creator on another machine and create a usb install pen, then boot from this and reinstall windows, that is your only option.

    Thanks for the quick reply!

I really wish I had another answer, but unfortunately, once you've used the Secure Erase option, the data is permanently erased and therefore unrecoverable.

See more details at the link below in the topic "How to erase SSD with ASUS Secure Erase". In step 6, the following information is available: Confirm that all the data will be deleted and will not be recoverable, click OK to continue the process. Then machine will automatically reboot after completion.
