I accidentally lost my save file on Just Cause 4 on xbox one and I'm desperate to get it back.

The savedata is normally online. You connect the xbox online and the console sincronices the savedata

I deleted it while in the game so I'm not sure.

When you say you delated it. When you delate a save it will warn you and give you the option too delate everywhere or just from the console. If you choose everywhere then the save is gone for good, If you choose console then the save is only removed from
that console and when you start the game again it will automatic resync the save,

I have done the same thing before. I too could not get the save file back and the only data I keep was my achievements, so after that I bought a external hard drive to store the games I play the most.
