This isnt a migration issue. They linked their Playstation account to the wrong Microsoft account

You are correct about not being able to lino a different account once once has already been linked. Unfortunately there is not a fix for this once youve linked the wrong account.

Note: Once a Microsoft account has been linked to a PlayStation® account, neither the Microsoft account nor the PlayStation™ Network account can be associated with a different account. 

If you choose to unlink accounts, then purchases will be returned to the account which made the purchase. Even after unlinking, Microsoft and PlayStation® accounts can only be re-linked to the original account.

You will need to contact Minecraft Support, and we will review your account.

The account that made the purchase most log in the Microsoft store app, and get the new launcher, it's free, that Microsoft store wont show the purchase of Minecraft if was trough Mojang site but will work trough the launcher
