I accidentally changed my gamer tag to the wrong thing, what do I do?

Hello, I changed my gamer tag but I accidentally missed a character when changing it. I changed it to “LucanRL” but wanted to change it to “Lucan RL”. I’m a student and really can’t afford to pay for the change again. Is there a way for me to get a refund or possibly have someone at Xbox change it for me?

Unfortunately no. The only way would be to pay for another change, which actually would end up being 2 more changes as the system doesn't see things as spaces as making a gamertag unique. So you would have to change it to something else to free up the tag and then change it back.

Hay I can't change my gamer tag I just payed for a new year of gold and it wo t let me download the maps so what do I do tells me the same thing

Thank you for your post. I understand you are experiencing an issue with a Gamer Tag change you made on the incorrect account. The only available option would be to change the gamer tag on the accidentally changed account, then set the gamer tag on the correct,
desired account.
