Humble Multiplayer Experiences

The best experience I ever had happened in Rocket League. I was playing 3v3 ranked with random mates and the enemy team shot two goals in a very short timespan. After the second goal, one of my mates left the game (maybe rage-quitted) and my other mate just
stood there while I was playing alone against three.

Seconds after the third goal, my mate also left the game and I finally was alone. Before I could decide to leave the game too, one of the opponents wrote, that they will give me a chance and play 2v2, while one of them changes sites. We chose to play with
one "field player" and one "goalie". After a very interesting game (I have drawn the game to a 3v3 'til the end and then lost in overtime), one of them left and the other two asked me to team up for some rounds.

Occasionally, when the guys I normally play with have no time, I still play with those two.

Sometimes, not leaving a game because others do, is one of the best things one can do.

I have had many instances where I am playing various games and there are enemy players that make friends. I think my favorite was recently though. I was playing Apex and it was down to two squads, mine and the others. The thing is though, mine and his
teammates were already dead and we were not in an area where we could respawn them. We both emptied each others inventory, besides our resurrect shields and fist fought each other, we each won once. He tried killing himself in the storm because I refused to
kill him, I grappled him back and then he made me go away from the storm with a jump pad. It was basically a race to get to the storm first, sadly he got to it first and made me win, I was sad that he won the race to death.

That's a great story.

I've been mainly playing fallout 76 recently and most of the players will help lower level players out, giving aid, food, ammo.

I've even built decent level appropriate gear for new players as well. Something to help them along the way, until they can fine their own gear.

Everyday i get online and load into sea of thieves. i go into open crews and drop new players an athena quest. they see the quests and are ever so grateful

I have a group of friends that a similar situation happened with back during Halo 2 multiplayer. They ended up being nearly on opposite ends of the US but several years of gaming together later we all still find time to meet up in each others cities for
a visit.

I had a more recent experience with Destiny where using an online group finder for a raid, landed in a group of randos. Before filling out a full team a younger person had joined the room and while asking a few questions the leader said he was kicking him
due to a "squeaky voice". I immediately told him that it wasn't cool and I'd be bouncing out to join the other person and find another team. In the end they really appreciated it we had a blast doing the raid.
