Hulu app not saving my credentials since update

Hi! I use the Hulu app pretty regularly and it seems that every time I close the app and restart it since the new update it makes me put in my email and password to start it up. I've signed in numerous times since and still forces me to sign in every time.
I've looked within the app to find a 'keep me signed in' button to turn on but there isn't one. I've uninstalled and re-installed the app trying to fix it, but to no avail. Any help or tips would be greatly appreciated.

About a week ago (maybe slightly less) Hulu stopped saving my login information. I have to login every time I use it which is REALLY annoying. No matter which option I use (registering it with Hulu or just logging in with email) it asks for it again the
next time I start the app.

This is a known issue with Hulu since a recent update a few days back. What I've noticed is that the Xbox One does not show up under "Managed Devices" within the Hulu account info section when you login on their website. I spoke with a support person from
Hulu and he documented everything I was experiencing and he said others had complained about the same issue. He noticed multiple entries in the backend database for my Xbox One for each time it was "activated" but for whatever reason it's not getting associated
with the account. This does not appear to be a Microsoft issue at this point so whatever was suggested above is not going to resolve this problem.

 

Instead of typing it in on the console, select the sign in online one, and then use that code at hulu.com/activate.

 

I've tried using the log in online option as well and activated the device a couple times and it still makes me sign in. Seems like every time I turn my Xbox off it makes me sign in again.

 

I see this problem too - if I sign in or activate through the website it never seems to remember that I've signed in once the app has terminated, so on each new launch I need to sign in again.

Please try signing out of the app, uninstalling the app, and then power cycle your Xbox One (hold power button for 8-10 seconds until your console shuts off). Once you power cycle your console, re-install the app and log in. Let us know if that helps clear
up your sign-in trouble.

 

Thank you! I made sure I was logged out of Hulu, uninstalled the app, did a hard reset on my Xbox, and when I reinstalled the app I didn't even have to log in. I guess it remembered my credentials at some point through all my log on attempts. I guess the
key was the hard reset.
