HUGE error with no solutions so far

So, this is a doozy of an error.
I am getting an error (0x409) 0x42B when trying to log into the Xbox app on my windows 10 PC. I have tried quite literally everything the internet has said to try and nothing works. It will not let me sign in. Just says "we can't sign you in right now.
Try again later."

The need help? button just refreshes the app, doesn't actually take me somewhere for help. It is like my PC has been hard coded to not sign into my Xbox account.

I am signed into it on my phone, and I can sign into the Xbox website just fine but not the app for windows 10.
This started when I tried getting my Minecraft java edition account connected with my Windows account. I got the access code and downloaded the free windows edition, but I cannot sign into my Windows account in the game. That is where all this started.
I can play the game, but cannot sign in.

The best part is that Microsoft's website does not recognize this error so they don't have any resources to help it. There are two forum posts about it, but even after doing everything they said, nothing has worked.

Looking at my Xbox Networking settings, it says

Xbox Live services Up and running

NAT type Teredo is unable to qualify. This could block you from playing multiplayer games

Server connectivity Connected

I believe the issue lies with the NAT type, but the provided help section for that does nothing. It is beyond frustrating, and there are almost no resources about it.

If thats the case, why can my roommates connect with the app? We are using the same network. My computer is the only one doing this.

Hi Jack,

Thank you for coming by the Xbox forums. If I'm not mistaken, the account you use to sign in on Minecraft and Windows is one in the same account, which is a Microsoft account. Minecraft on other platforms uses a Microsoft account to connect you to Xbox Live
servers, at least that's what I've seen nowadays. Did you use an actual Minecraft or Mojang account to sign into the Java edition? I know you'll probably need a Microsoft account for the Windows 10 edition and that should be the same one you use to sign into
Windows.

I've found a pretty workable solution from the Windows 10 section of the forums that I believe will hep you.

1. Remove the Xbox app per the PowerShell instructions. Run it as an Admin.

Windows Key + X > Windows PowerShell > Get-AppxPackage *xboxapp* | Remove-AppxPackage

This removes Xbox app from the PC.

2. Then, install the Xbox Identity Provider first:

3. Then install the Xbox app:

4. Launch the app and sign into the same Microsoft account you used to get the code and you use to login to Windows.

Hi Jack,

have you tried to log in into the app from somewhere else? The NAT type normally does not influence anything on PC, only Xbox gaming.

What kind of router do you have? Have you tried setting it up like explained here: https://support.xbox.com/en-us/browse/xbox-one/networking

I live on a college campus so i cant do anything about the router. I dont have anywhere else to log into the app with, my pc is the only thing besides my phone.

I also have friends who were able to get everything set up with no problem at all so I dont think its a issue with the router.
