How would I get my saves back from a Minecraft legacy version (2014)

The disk is scratched and won’t read anymore. It’s only scratched on the surface but it complaine that it can’t read the key. How would I launch the game again. And could I get something to launch the game. Or find the save files

I am very sorry but if the disc is damaged, this is not covered by any warranties

You'll need to purchase a new copy on disc or digitally as that is your only option.

You can try taking it to a local game shop to have it resurfaced but I cannot guarantee that will work.

Not from the 360 version. If you had the version of the game called Minecraft "Xbox One Edition" then you could have upgraded to the new Windows 10 version (that also replaced the old console version on Xbox) that was simply titled Minecraft/Minecraft Bedrock
edition. They ran a promotion to get that free from the Xbox One edition a few years ago and I believe they are supposed to be running that one again soon when the new Nether update releases on Java and W10. The stipulation is you can only get the W10 version
for your Xbox and not for your PC or the Java Edition should they run that promo again.

Also, as a side note, legacy versions of the game stopped receiving updates after the Aquatic update some time ago back in early-mid 2018. There were multiple tweets and news articles about it from Mojang/Minecraft themselves when they made that decision.
So ultimately its up to the consumer to upgrade from a legacy version and not expect a free handout.

I like playing older versions of Minecraft, but more specifically Minecraft: Legacy edition. I want to purchase a copy of Minecraft: Xbox One edition for my Xbox Series X console. Will I be able to play the legacy version, or be forced to play Bedrock?

Where do I find the save files in Windows 10 version? I found a folder named saves and it has 2 worlds in it but both are from Minecraft for pc version not windows 10 version... Yes I have both on my pc... Also, if I uninstall the Windows 10 version can
I download it again? I got the windows 10 version for free when I bought Minecraft for pc. The mojang website next to Windows 10 version says redeemed... How would I go about redownloading when it was a free download to begin with?
