How will scalpers be stopped?

nope, anyone is entitled to purchase a product that is on sale, there is laws in some countries protecting this right. selling an item on is also legal.

it does not just affect gaming consoles, any product that is in short supply is affected and scalped.

Until the chip shortage is over and there are units freely hitting shelves then it will continue.

‘Thanks’ for the info on the console is available at Walmart! It’s being sold through them by scalpers for about $1K!!! NOT doing it. We’re past the point of COVID excuses , the scalpers have plenty of inventory! Stop feeding the scalpers and sell to your customer base! I won’t be buying one for more than the suggested retail of ~$500.00! Im done waiting and searching for rumored online release dates only to be wiped by scalpers in minutes !!!

If you wish to stop scalpers, you need to have your reps pass laws to criminalize it. Outside of that there is nothing that can be done

Everything does work, you can't blame Microsoft for greedy scalpers jumping in and buying up stock. They announced 25th October that the Kinect was not being manufactured, so it would figure that the adapters would be stopped soon after. They probably manufactured
more than enough but scalpers got them first.
