Xbox 360 to Xbox one

Greetings,

you can use only the 360 games that are part of the backward compatibility with xbox one. You can find the ever expanding list here:

www.xbox.com/.../available-games

All the downloaded 360 games you own will be found in the games and app section of Xbox One ready to be installed. For the disc based games you have to use the disc in order to install the 360 games for Xbox One.

If I understand your question correctly, you're trying to use an Xbox 360 disc in your Xbox One? To my understanding, the Xbox One version is a remastered version and RE6 is not currently backwards compatible. It will have to be available in the backwards
compatibility program to be able to play your 360 version disc.

Hi, You insert the disc, select it, then the console will download an update to the game, once it has downloaded, keep the disc in the drive and start the game.

Hi there,

please double check if your Xbox One console is fully updated (and connected to Xbox Live) since this is a requirement to install a Backward compatible game.

When using a disc the backward compatible game will still be downloaded from Xbox Live, since that is the backward compatible version (it will require the play disc to be inserted in order to play the game)

Since you mentioned discs, please be sure to insert the correct one (when console is connected and is updated). that usually should trigger installation.
