how to use my money on my microsoft account to use on a game

Thank you for taking the time to post this on the Xbox Forums. We understand that you are experiencing difficulties with using the currency on your account.

We recommend to request a call from support so they can assist you. This is a known issue and is being investigated currently.

When you go to Contact Us, follow these steps to request a call from support:

• Step 1 ----click on Contact us
  
• Step 2 ----under what you having trouble with select Subscriptions & billing
  
• Step 3-----under what is the issue I can't redeem a code then hit next
  
  Step 4 ----scroll down to select request a call
  

Once they call explain the issue and they will be able to help you. Note that these options regularly change so just keep selecting something that gives request a call from support as a contact option.

As there is nothing more the forums can do, I will be locking this thread.

Just to add to this, I purchased the new game Max ... for my Xbox one via xbox.com and it redeemed the money from my account. So you CAN redeem your account money via xbox.com, but it might just be for xbox one games.

Also, you state pre-ordering Titanfall which I don't think is up on xbox.com (is it?) it sounds like you are ordering from the Microsoft Store, which will probably not use your account money as the money is taken from your account until the order ships and
of course it cannot be guaranteed that you will still have money in your account at that time (March next year). hope that makes sense.

Yes. To get it go thought your MS account. You must go to account management. Then go to payment method. And then select MICROSOFT account. It will be your mind payment option unless you do not have enough. Then it goes to credit/debit card or PayPal. if
you have that also list in there..

Well you can not buy games from xbox.com using the money in your account. So if you are going to preorder Titanfall you will need to use a credit card. To use the money in your account you would have to purchase the game digitally through your console once
it is released.

So in other words, in order to use the money in your account, you have to buy something through the console, not online.
