How to upload a save file to XCloud Hard Drive?

There is no way to put your own save files into Xbox games, regardless of where you're playing them,

The save file would be completely incompatible anyway, as it's an Xbox 360 game and you're playing on switch

We're sorry to hear about this issue. You should be able to remove the hard drive, use another persons Xbox 360 of the same model to access your account, and upload those save files to the cloud. The cloud is the only current way to access these save files.

Im having the same problem. I wasn't able to manage my hard drive or upload my saves to a cloud service, and now that I load up my game, my 30+ hour save file is gone.

From what I was reading when I first started to use the Cloud storage,



If your Gold expires, you have read-only access to your Cloud storage, but no write, so yes, you can then copy your save files back to your hard drive from Cloud Storage.



And yes, the cloud storage files are saved to the hard drive, the upload to the cloud appears to happen when the XBox is off, since turning on the Cloud storage, my XBox often does the 'background download/upload" when powering down.

System Update Recommend Transferring all game saves and files to external hard drive and using the working internal hard drive as a back up drive that way the game saves and files are portable and you don't lose any data from the internal hard drive.
