    How to unlink EA account from xbox without having access to EA accounts email?


    I have my Xbox account and the Xbox ultimate game pass. With that comes EA play. However the EA account that is associated with my xbox account has been hacked and the email has been changed. Now, I cannot unlink it from that EA account unless I know the name of that email for the EA account. I want to know if xbox can unlink this for me as the EA play is only activated due to my purchase of xbox game pass. This means, a hacked EA account can use EA play because it is bound to an xbox account that is paying for it.

    Well, according to EA's own FAQs, it may be possible to restore a deleted account:

    Scroll to near the bottom and there is a "Restoring deleted accounts" section.

    Beyond that, this thread may or may not be useful...it seems to be more aimed at restoring an account without access to the email but it still may be useful:

    Either way, unfortunately, the only way to unlink it is from EA's end of things.

    The problem is that it was linked to an email i no longer have access to. i cant get into the account thats linked to my xbox account. I need to unlink it without getting into my EA account.

    The account connection is created on EA's side, therefore it can only be unlinked from EA's side.

    When signing in to the EA website, choose to login with your Xbox profile. This should allow you to access the linked EA account.

    The accounts are linked from EA side. This makes it impossible to unlink the accounts when you do not have access to your EA account. Unfortunately Microsoft will not be able to help you with the account recovery as it has no control over EA accounts.     If your account is linked to an EA account that you do not have access to, you will need to talk to EA to unlink the account. No linking or unlinking process is done on the Xbox side.
