How to unlink deleted Microsoft account from PSN

I deleted the Microsoft account that is linked to my PSN account. It no longer exists but whenever i try to link my new Microsoft account it says to login to the old one. I have already contacted support from Microsoft and PS, they both told me to go to the other for help.

Unfortunately in this case we do not any way to actually unlink the account from PS.

Hello there,

Try following these steps and see if it works.

1.) Login to the playstation app and click on settings. Then underneath playstation network, click on "account information"

2.) Click on "security"

3.) Then you will see your primary sign in email id and click "edit". Once you edit the new email, it will ask you to verify the new email. Once the new email has been verified, you can then delete your old email should you wish to do so. Hope this helps!

Regarding your case you can try opening your Microsoft account that you closed if it has not exceeded 60 days of closure yet, then try reaching out to PS so that they can help you unlink it.
