How to turn on notifications for achievements on PC gamepass?

Basically the title. While playing games I've noticed I never get a pop up for unlocking achievements like I do on console. I see that I still get the achievements in the app, but I'd just like to know when I get them while I'm playing. Is there a way to make that possible on PC gamepass?

Open the Game bar.

Click Settings.

Choose Notifications.

Switch to General pane on the right.

Scroll down to Notify me when I unlock achievements.

Check the box marked against the option.

just got an achievement and reward notification while playing unpacking via gamepass ultimate on my pc

never received any notifications for that game before today despite earning achievements.

havent changed a single thing on my pc.

did notice that gamebar updated overnight.

seems its a very buggy piece of software. definitely needs some work

There isn't a way to turn off the achievement tracker but there is a way to turn off the notifications if that would help ignoring them. To know more on how you can do that, check out Pop-up notifications on Xbox | Xbox Support.

I have the same problem, and I have my notifications turned on. I have turned them off, restarted console, and turned them back on again, yet still no pop. The achievements ARE however popping in time on my linked Windows 10 PC. Confusing and annoying.

I've noticed that on Xbox Gamepass PC the games aren't optimized or updated the same as a regular release of a game. Some games on Gamepass PC don't have achievents when the console version does. The Gamepass versions seem to be different some how. Maybe
try resetting the Xbox beta app by right clicking it, then click more, then app settings.
