    How to turn off Xbox controller auto shut off?


    I am using a keyboard and because the Xbox one s does not have a aux port I have to connect my head set to the controller but the controller turns off after 15 min or so. How do I keep the controller from turning off?

    If you mean USB, there are two ports in the rear of the console.

    I have been arguing for this feature myself. I do enjoy playing with a keyboard and a mouse, but it makes things hard when I need to keep using my controller, so it will not shut off.

    Also thanks for the link I googled about this issue first and the only thing that showed up was for "xboxuservoice" or something along those lines. Anyways that page was no longer in existence. So this link helps.

    I understand with the wire normally it would work but I have an elite 2 and somehow the wire doesn't matter. I'm guessing the console thinks because it's full charged so it no longer needs to stay on maybe? I just know I shouldn't have to buy a new controller
    just to keep it plugged in. Either way it should just be an option to keep it on but thank you for the help :)
