How to turn off new "amazing" feature - split screen time?

Step 2 - Click View Family Settings and click on your child's profile. Click Screen Time in the left menu. Step 3 – Here, you'll see a breakdown of the time spent on each device your child uses along with how that time is divided between Apps and games.

It's not that you must play screen split games (those titles able to go split screen anyway) that is just a feature to allow couch coop or couch vs (i.e split screen playing of two players or more). There are games that let gamers take turn or if you own
two tv sets and two consoles you can still play coop. It all depends on the game you pick and the features that game offers.

If your issue is with Forza 5, please make a new thread - split-screen racing is definitely a feature, I've used it. I'm not as sure about Forza 6 but thought it was there too. In either case, make a new thread instead of bumping this 2.5-year old one.

To maintain visual fidelity at all times. Personally, I notice just about every frame drop. Have you tried playing split-screen in Halo: The Master Chief Collection? The game has to sacrifice a consistent 60fps for playability. Heck, even playing solo, there
are framerate drops. Now, that's not to say that a consistent 30fps is bad; it certainly isn't. Shadow of Mordor looks amazing at 30fps, in fact, it's so smooth I even thought it was 60fps at one point.

Why couldn't Destiny have split-screen? Surely it could manage the feature, especially since it runs at a consistent 30fps.

I'm fine with Halo 5: Guardians sacrificing split-screen to maintain 60fps. It's gonna be great.

My fave feature...... voice commands and TV. I'm continually amazed at just how well it does work, especially when you consider how similar so many of the TV station's call letters are...... CBS, PBS, TBS, etc.

TV running thru the xbox on the same input really was a fantastic idea.

Also "Xbox on" fires up my entire home theater system and "Xbox turn off" turns it all off. I'd say it works 95% of the time.

My least fave feature...... the lack of hard drive control, the severe lacking of many of the community/social features we have become accustomed to.

Good news tho.... the march update should address this!
