How to talk and recieve chats in Minecraft

Hi.

I try to talk on Minecraft bedrock but this message keep popping up: "You cannot chat with other players because of how your Microsoft Account is set up. Please ensure that your privacy settings allow communicating with others. See instructions for changing these settings at aka.mc/MCMultiplayerHelp."

I cannot see other peoples chat or chat with them. I have tried to check my microsoft settings, but the settings say that i am allowed to communicate with others. I dont know what to do to chat with others.

Hi Kineherikstad, I hope you're doing great out there despite the issue that you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regards to your concern.

For you to manage it you can simply sign in to https://account.xbox.com/settings.

If the system detects that your account is a child account you will be redirected to a support site and if not you will be able to change it successfully.

If you were redirected to a support page, please sign in to https://account.microsoft.com/family and check if there is an organizer account linked to your account then use the organizer account so sign in to https://account.xbox.com/settings then "allow" the setting on this screenshot:

How do you talk to Minecraft support?

Minecraft includes an option to use text-to-speech for chat during any game session. To enable text-to-speech for chat: Use the Accessibility Menu in Settings to enable text-to-speech for chat.
Use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+B at any point during a game session to enable text-to-speech for chat.

And now I can only talk to friends using my email and I can't even chat on Minecraft because of it

I'm able to talk in everything else but the featured servers in Minecraft. Well, I can my own messages in the chat, but no one else can.

Have you checked the in game settings to allow chat?

The main reason why the ‘Can’t chat in Minecraft” error occurs is quite simple: the game comes with a set of default settings in the multiplayer section and usually, the chat setting is set to command only. This allows you to input commands but does not let you chat with other users or interact with them

To fix the ‘Can’t chat in Minecraft” error, go to Options > Chat settings and change the settings from Command Only to Shown. This will let you talk and share your thoughts with all the other creative Minecraft players.

If chat is still unavailable, disconnect from the game and then enable the connection again.
