    How to stop the Xbox headset turning on the console


    Hello! I was wondering if there is a way to disable the feature that turns on the Xbox when using the headset. I understand that there might not be a way to do this, but I have seen many complaints about this issue for the past two years. I’m curious why nothing has been done to address it. If there is no way to disable this feature, I will be returning the headset.

    Hi. My name is Brilliant and I am happy to assist you today.

    Unfortunately the only to prevent that would be unplugging your Xbox console from the power source. The headset uses the Microsoft's proprietary wireless connection, which is the same as the Xbox controller and it automatically powers on the console.
