    How to stop controller switching off


    My controller keeps switching off mid game when im playing on keyboard and mouse this gets me killed all the time and its very frustrating and many ppl say to plug it into my xbox however my monitor keyboard and mouse are using all the spaces on my Xbox so i cant and i cant afford a wireless setup and ive tried playing 24 hr Spotify songs and holding down buttons with tape or rubber bands but nothing works please tell how to solve this

    There is no other way to prevent it turning off

    Connecting your controller to the console using a USB cable should stop the controller turning off whilst the console is switched on.

    Anyone else have this issue?

    once in a while my newish controller will do it - not jump on the spot though - mine will start walking backwards constantly even switching them. But will stop if I turn it off then reconnect it.
