How to stop autocomplete in freecell

Several freecell challenges are moves challenges where you have tor each a goal within a limited number of moves. The autocomplete function makes many unnecessary moves and is the cause I cannot achieve the goal. How can I stop the autocomplete functionality?

I have the same problem. Microsoft, please add an option to turn off Freecell autocomplete.

 

Turning off autocomplete

How do you turn off autocomplete in a game. I am playing FreeCell and the challenge calls for playing 2 Kings to the Foundation in no more than 85 moves. I am in a positon to complete this but when I move place a card up, the stacks start to autocomplete
all 4 suits and I miss completing this challenge by a couple of moves. I can finish if autocomplete is off since I only care about completing 2 suits. Please advise.

Use the one step back/undo/resolve button,....down on the right.

You have to do it everytime when it starts running, when you lay down your next card.

Thanks for the answer. I guess it means you CANNOT stop the autocomplete. The suggestion is also not really doable. Or at least it takes out all the fun of the game. At this moment I am stuck in a challenge where I have to remove at least 12 cards that were
finished automataically. I am NOT going to undo 12 cards, then 11 , then 10, ...

If miracles do happen then maybe Microsoft will read this and add a setting to activate/deactivate autocomplete.

BTW: I live in Indonesia which is much better than Bewlgium

I have no facebook account (yes, I know, this sounds unbelievable) so I cannot post there.

 

I agree, there should be some way to disable Auto-complete in FreeCell. It's way too much trouble to have to undo all the cards, make the move you want to make and then have to undo all the cards again for every move.

 

I cant believe that one year on there is still no way to disable auto complete. It has taken the fun out of freecell challenges so I dont do them any more

 

The one option I found now to make sure I am able to play a certain card to the foundation in a limited amount of steps, is to keep a low card of another stack unreachable for as long as possible.

 

I agree that it takes all of the fun out of all of the Microsoft Solitaire Collection games on Xbox when they practically force you to accept their automatic moves!! I like to play Spider and I quit every single game when it makes moves that are not my
moves! Then it is their program playing the game and getting the high score and not me. And trying to move the cards without the game practically grabbing them out of your hand and putting them where it "thinks" they should go really trashes the whole game
experience.

The ONE AND ONLY reason why I have not removed these games from my computer is that I live in a remote area where the internet OFTEN goes down and these are the only games available to play offline since Microsoft chose to remove it's games from Accessories
so they could force us to see ads or pay not to see the ads.

Honestly Microsoft, you can't even let us play a simple card game???
