how to stop Age of empires IV from crashing

Are you using windows 10 or 11?
Is this happening only with this game or if you try a different game something similar happens?
Do you know if your system, a hardware component or the game received an update recently?
When the game crashes, do you receive an error message or similar?

First you'll need to uninstall the Xbox app. Afterwards, try this;

- Windows Key+X > Click Settings > Click Update & security > Click Troubleshoot > Scroll down to the bottom > Click Windows Store Apps > Click Run the Troubleshooter

- Restore the store settings:

a) Press the Windows + R keys to open the Run window.

b) Type wsreset.exe and press the Enter key to execute the command.

- Wait for the process to finish, restart your computer, reinstall the app and try again and see if it works.

Run a scan to check for problems and repair them.

Press Windows + R, type cmd, and press Ctrl + Shift + Enter to run Command Prompt as administrator. Next type sfc /scannow in Command Prompt window, and press Enter to start to scan and repair corrupt system files in Windows 10.

But why would I need to uninstall the app the app works fine its just one game that doesn't work.... How can the store be the issue if just one game does not work. Wouldn't the issue be with the game not the store?
