    How to speed up downloads


    I have my game in the queue downloading it just seems like it's taking forever for the game to download we've uninstalled games to make room for this we only have like 21% memory use so we have plenty of of space for the game was wanting to know how we speed this up

    Slow Downloads?

    How large is the game? That along with the download speed will determine the time required to download the game. However, you will probably not achieve the full 60Mbps download speed.

    You can speed the download up some by running wired instead of wireless and by not using your console while the download is running.

    The download speed in the detailed network statistics shows your speed in Megabits not megabytes. 1Megabit is 0,125Megabytes so your actual download speed should be around 12,34MB/s give or take with other devices connected to your router or modem this number
    can be lower.

    Something you can try to do to speed it up a bit is powercycling your Xbox and trying to download again but seeing as how it's downloading at 4.8mb/s I say, just wait.

    Your download speed is also highly dependant on what speed you get from your ISP. How can MS improve download speeds, if your connections are slow. Do you even know what your speeds are?

    I'm on 120Mb/s down 10Mb/s up. No slow downloads here. As for an HD iTunes movie, they are typically around 3GB, a typical Xbox One game is between 10 and 50GB.
