How to solve my bluetooth connection? Xbox series controller

1. Re-pair the Controller:

• Disconnect the controller from your computer.
  
• Turn on the Bluetooth on your computer.
  
• Go to Settings > Devices > Bluetooth and other devices.
  
• Click “Add Bluetooth or other device” > Bluetooth.
  
• Put your controller in pairing mode (it will blink rapidly).
  
• Select “Xbox Wireless Controller” from the list.
  
• Windows should indicate that your device is ready to go. The controller should now be connected
  

2. Check USB Bluetooth Adapter Compatibility:

• Ensure that your USB Bluetooth adapter is compatible with Xbox controllers. Some adapters may not work seamlessly with gaming peripherals.
  
• If possible, try using an Xbox Wireless Adapter specifically designed for Xbox controllers. These adapters provide better compatibility and performance.
  

3. Update Controller Firmware:

• Connect your controller to your computer via USB.
  
• Visit the Xbox Accessories app (available on Microsoft Store) to check for any available firmware updates for your controller.
  
• Updating the firmware may resolve compatibility issues and improve performance.
  

4. Uninstall and reinstall the Bluetooth adapter driver on your computer.

Thanks for letting me know my prior solution didn’t fix the issue and I really appreciate you trying the steps. I do get your side as I am a gamer myself but I'm afraid the issue is with your adapter since the Xbox controller is working fine with other devices. I do have some further strategies to try and I hope this works. However, if the steps fail you may need to try a different adapter to fix the issue.

Please follow these steps:

- Outdated USB drivers can cause problems with the Xbox controller disconnecting from the PC. Update your USB drivers.
Right-click the Start button and select “Device Manager.”

Expand “Universal Serial Bus controllers.”

Right-click each USB Root Hub, and choose “Update driver.”

Follow on-screen instructions to update drivers.

- Reinstall Controller Drivers: Sometimes, corrupted drivers can cause connectivity issues. If this is the case, you should reinstall the controller drivers.

Follow these steps:

1. Go to “Device Manager.”
   
2. Expand “Xbox Peripherals” or “Human Interface Devices.”
   
3. Right-click the controller, and choose “Uninstall device.”
   
4. Disconnect and reconnect the controller to prompt Windows to automatically reinstall the drivers.
   

- Disable Power Saving: Some power-saving settings for USB ports can cause them to turn off, interrupting the connection between your PC and your Xbox controller. Here’s how to disable power saving for USB ports:

1. Go to “Device Manager.”
   
2. Expand “Universal Serial Bus controllers.”
   
3. Right-click each USB Root Hub, and choose “Properties.”
   
4. Go to the “Power Management” tab and uncheck “Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power.”

I have already tried everything on that list. But unfortunately, it didn't resolve my problem. I won't change the adapter nor connect my controller via wired connection. I bought a new controller just for playing wireless, so it doesn't make any sense.
