Yes, I signed out of the Microsoft account.

I opened Edge and was signed into Bing.

I signed out of Bing.

I cleared cookies and passwords.

I removed devices at https://account.microsoft.com/devices

I signed out of Microsoft account.

I rebooted.

I opened Edge and was still signed into Bing.

How can I completely signout of a public computer,

so that other persons Bing searches are not logged against my Microsoft account?

I would recommend checking changing your account password and checking on listed devices at your Microsoft Account page for devices you don't recognize. If your profile is signed into another Xbox 360 console or an Xbox 360 backwards compatible game on
Xbox One, then it will sign out other instances signed in. Resetting your password would rule out if you're being signed out due to being signed in else where, if, for example, your account is compromised.

We have updated all the suggestions for privacy and we still cannot get our children online to play against each other in Minecraft on the Switch or any other device.

Its down to the publishers what they include and I think im rignt in thinking that they do have the ability to seperate controller users and keyboard\mouse users if they wish to do so or at least give you the option of playing all users or only playing
against others with the same input devices. If im wrong I appologise but thats how it should be.

What do you mean "signing him out"?

Does he get a message that he is signed out because he's signed in on another device?

If just the controller is disconnecting, troubleshoot the issue by connecting the controller with a micro USB data cable (it has to be a data cable, as phone charging cables often have no data lines.
