How to sign out of the default account the computer uses for new Minecraft Launcher

NokataTheJedi, you can do two things, you can keep both your account's there or you can log out from that old one and put a new one.

First:

You could simple, on the launcher, click on log out, it will log out from that account and you will be able to choose the Microsoft login option to fill the email and password form again.

Or

On the Launcher go into Settings > Accounts > Add Account > Sign in with the account you want to use > Then, when you go back to the account settings, you will be able to choose an account on the screen.

Also, when you go back to the main screen in the launcher, you will be able to choose on the top left menu there, the exact account you want to use if you choose to leave multiple accounts there.

Hi again Tyme, i don't really know if you can do that but you can try this troubleshooting if you have multiple micrsoft accounts that are linked to the same email address, you can switch between these accounts to play Minecraft Java. This can be useful if you want to use different profiles or personas for different Minecraft Java experiences.

To switch between Microsoft accounts in Minecraft Java, follow these steps:

Open the Minecraft Launcher: Launch the Minecraft Launcher application on your computer.

Sign out of your current account: Click on your profile picture in the top right corner of the launcher and select "Sign out."

Sign in with a different account: Enter the credentials for the Microsoft account you want to use and click on "Sign in."

Once you're signed in with the desired Microsoft account, you should be able to play Minecraft Java using that account.

Hey Nicholas, sorry you had trouble with your previous account. I understand you are having trouble logging into your new account with the launcher.

First, try to use the instructions on this page for logging out of the launcher:

After that, you should be able to log in with your new Microsoft account. If it still auto-logs in, try clearing the launcher cache or reinstalling it.

First sign out from your account on the launcher, then go here:

https://account.xbox.com/en-us/Settings

Block all permissions and sign out. Wait like 10 or 15 minutes, sign in again and allow everything.

Once done that open minecraft launcher again and sign in with your account and double check how it goes

By the way, are you using the Windows Store launcher? Or which one?
