How to sign into a Microsoft account when it won't let you change your second email?

If your email address on your son's account is a Microsoft one (@live, @hotmail, @outlook) then you won't be able to change it. If you do it will close down your Microsoft email and you won't have access to any of the services linked to it.

The email that you created the Microsoft account will always be associated with the account because it's the email that created the account.

You can change the (primary) email that you use to sign into your Microsoft account. Once you've changed it, it'll always be the email that you will use to sign into your Microsoft account / Xbox profile.

Hi, when you sign into the xbox change the email on the gamertag that comes up then hopefully when you recover your account again using the same email the second gamertag should show up.
