How to retrieve Overwatch 1 account?

With regards to Overwatch 1 accounts, do you remember if you have linked your Battle.net account to your Xbox gamertag? The Blizzard battletag may be different from the Xbox gamertag you currently have based on Blizzard update https://us.battle.net/support/en/article/291044....

If you can still remember the Blizzard account you used on Overwatch 1 since it is a bit old version, what I suggest is to try contacting Blizzard support since they are the ones who can check your progress you may submit one via https://eu.battle.net/support/en/article/161940 or try their recovery tool. They should be able to provide further steps how you can link it to Overwatch 2 after you recover your previous account.

If this is the account you are having difficulty with you need to delete the profile from your Xbox and retrieve a new copy from Live.
