    Just to clarify, here in the Microsoft Community forums we only have limited tools and we don't have the option to access your account information, but we will do our best to help you resolve this issue.

    If you know the email address you used to set up your Microsoft account (to sign in to your Xbox account), you can reset your password immediately:

    Go to Reset Password Recover your account and enter your email address.

    Tell us where you want us to send the security code (email or phone number).

    If you do not have access to any of the contact information associated with your account (and therefore cannot receive the security code required to reset your password), try clicking the following link: https://account.live.com/acsr

    Fill out the online recovery form to see if it works, up to 2 attempts per day.

    Note: If you have previously enabled two-factor authentication, you will not be able to fill out the online recovery form.
