How to replace my Xbox One S controller?

Hello. My new Xbox controller seems to have a broken thumbstick within a few months of usage. How do I contact support to fix this? I own the controller only and used for my pc. It was bought from microsoft ebay store.

Controller warranty

Hi

I have purchased Xbox one s console and an additional controller separately. Both my additional controller and the controller which came with xbox are not functioning. I am looking for replacement warranty for both. I can replace one controller through my
xbox warranty. but how should i go ahead with replacement of the controller which bought separately?

Lol,you are not going to get an xbox one x as a replacement for a xbox one s.

You'll either get the same console back or a replacement xbox one s which wont be a new console either.

standard xbox one controllers have been replaced with the series s/x controllers that work with all xbox one consoles and the new series s and x and even pc. they are readily in stock all over the uk, try argos.

Hi, Thanks for the reply. It just seems wierd that this has happened on both of the xbox one controllers over night, even though only one was being used. Also with the other technical problems i was windering if microsoft had done something by accident
as it hasnt effected the xbox one s controller!!! I can’t see how both my original xbox controllers have stopped just like ’s have?

My controller hasn't stopped working. I was responding to the original post with suggestions. However, I do agree that it may be an issue with the audio jack in the controller. I just don't know how you would check (unless it was just super far out of place).
It may be worth trying to get a "cost-effective" controller and test that one with the headset. Then if it is the controller you at least have a temporary replacement.
