    Hi,

    I bought an Xbox One controller less than 2 years ago to play on PC. The left stick is now stuck towards up direction, which is a common fault when I check on internet ! I would like to replace the controller however I can't go through Xbox support as it
    asks me for a Xbox device serial number and doesn't recognize the controller serial number ! I am just asking for an access to the support to replace it. Thank you for helping me.

    The warranty on controllers is typically 90 days. You are probably going to have to buy a new controller as they are no repair options for controllers outside the warranty period.

    I do apologise for this inconvenience. Due to the poor condition of the controller, Microsoft won't be able to do anything with it. I recommend that you take the controller to a local game distributor/shop or contact https://support.microsoft.com/en-gb/contactus
    again to see if they can do more for you.

    Xbox series X controller keeps drifting up

    Microsoft is fully aware of how faulty the thumbsticks are started from the x360 controller. It's a flaw in the thumbstick mechanism, you can buy replacements on eBay and Amazon. But it requires desoldering from circuit board in the controller. Microsoft has Civil suits regarding this very flaw. And of course the claim was bought off and dismissed. Easily searchable. I have replaced so many controllers I've lost count, all for stick drift. Bought at least 20 Xbox controllers or more. Never replaced one Playstation controller. Clearly it started at manufacturing.

    This may just be a faulty controller, have you tried replacing the battery pack and/or tried using a play and charge kit. From viewing the video, you have faulty joysticks and the only way to fix these is with a replacement. If you have recently bought this
    controller, please return it to the place of purchase and ask for a replacement.

    Sorry this has happened, this happened to one of my controllers after much use and their was no fix it for it.
