    How to REMOVE GameDVR and xbox services from my PC


    I have already used powershell to completely remove all xbox features from my pc, yet the gamebar and all its stuff just won't go away no matter what I try. When I play any game gamebar services starts itself up in the background even though in the settings app everything related to "gaming" is turned off, but there is no way I have found to remove it. Going into msconfig and trying to turn off the "gamedvr and broadcast user service" doesn't work as it just turns itself back on automatically. I just want to know how to completely REMOVE gamedvr services from my pc, not how to disable it or how to stop the service in task manager.

    It may be a service, but we have NO say in the ToS, and for gaming I have not found a better OS (to my utter horror), so now I am forced to accept terms that make my skin crawl, as I have no choice in it. And of course all they do is hide behind that one line: "You accepted the terms of service". And be honest with me, how many people read that ToS, and how many people just get their PC with windows pre-installed and never even see the thing.

    you can't, it is part of windows, removing it does not really help as it re installs on next update, windows is no longer the OS you remember it is a service now which is why it's free, you agree to these terms and conditions each time you sign into the OS.

    Long gone are the days of having the OS exactly how you want it.

    the only way around it is find a new OS.
