Discus and support How to remove FPS counter on Xbox Windows App???? in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; So I started messing about with the stream recording function on the app. Does anyone know if its possible to remove the FPS counter in the top left...     How to remove FPS counter on Xbox Windows App????


    So I started messing about with the stream recording function on the app. Does anyone know if its possible to remove the FPS counter in the top left corner? And also disable the app from capturing my mouse movements on screen??

    Going insane trying to figure this out...

    Please help!

    FPS counter

    Does anyone know if this is being worked on or if there is an option I'm just not seeing? The fact that i can't see my fps and adjust settings accordingly is extremely annoying.

    Xbox Game Bar - How to enable FPS counter on Windows

    Hi Mark,

    I'm assuming you are running Windows 10 Home and not Windows 10 Pro since Home does not have access to the section, Local Users and Groups.

    I found a thread on how to get this resolved for Windows 10 users that involves using some commands but the instructions are very well written out and a link to the original source is also provided: Xbox

    Xbox Gamebar Issues

    First- icons are not broken in Windows Start Menu.
    Was there a recent Windows update-i had this icons broken since windows 11 update.
    No apps are involved into this
    And about this FPS counter, Request access command just dont work.

    Xbox Game Bar - How to enable FPS counter on Windows

    Hi Mark,

    To use the FPS counter over your game, there are a few one-time steps you might need to take.

    Important You’ll need Xbox Game Bar version
    3.34.11002.0     or later to use the FPS counter.

    1. Press Windows logo key + G to open Game Bar, then select Overlay menu > Performance.
    2. Choose the FPS tab, then press Request access.
    3. Follow the prompts, then restart your PC for the changes to take effect.

    When you launch a game, the FPS counter will be ready and waiting in the Xbox Game Bar.
