    How to remove content restrictions in Game Pass for PC

    Hello,

    I have a Problem with my XBox Account and Games from the Game Pass for PC; it seams that I can not install games witch content restrictions, although I have no familiy account. I can find any way to change that or comfirm my status as adult in my account
    or the the mocrosoft account page. This Problem seams to be new since the Game Pass Ultimate Subscription.

    How do I remove content restrictions?

    :)

    How to remove community content restrictions.

    Hi and thanks for reaching Microsoft Xbox gamer's community. My name is Josef.
    I'm an Independent Advisor and a Microsoft Xbox user like you.

    Hope you're doing great today Harrison

    Probably that message is related to your privacy settings. Please ask to your parents to change the settings:

    Let me know how it goes

    Fallout 4 mods coming Tuesday 31st

    Mods block achievements on the PC version of the game too. Then someone released a mod which removed that restriction.

    I can't see that one passing Microsoft and Blizzard approval.

    Hi, this can be a bit odd but can you try leaving the family group and try once you're alone?
    (If you're the only family organizer in the group please add first another account as family organizer (or you can create a new one for this purpose)

    If everything looks good outside the family group. Go back to the group and try again once you're in (don't forget to add yourself as family organizer)

    Game Pass Content Restrictions

    I just allowed these steps exactly and the issue still persist. If I search of a game like "Plague Tale" it says "Due to your age, search results may be filtered. Learn more". If I sign out then I can see the game and click install. Xbox the asks me to sign in which I do and it pops up with a message "This is rated above xXIsaiah5417's Restrictions - A Plague Tale: Requiem - Windows is rated above the restrictions set on this account. To install, please ask an adult to sign in and download. Or you can continue to browse hundreds of games in the store." And I have options to cancel or browse store.

    My age is correct in my profile and before I set up the family account I was able to download mature games. And I can still play mature games that are already installed such as Aliens: Fireteam but I'm unable to download and install new games.

    I've even gone in and changed my son's account to allow any rated game and then logged into his account on my PC and still get the same message.

    Just to double check, all your privacy settings are allowed here, right?
    https://account.xbox.com/Settings

    If everything looks good there try and double check this in your PC:

    Open Settings, click Update and Security and then Windows Update;

    Click Check for Updates;

    Click the Download and Install Now option, if available (Install optional updates as well)

    Also, check the Microsoft Store for any updates on the Xbox apps and its services and update everything too.

    Now, sign out from your account on both Xbox app and Microsoft Store and do this:

    Go to windows settings > apps > search for gaming services app > click on it and select advanced options.

    After that, click repair and then reset

    Then do the same for the Xbox app:

    Go to windows settings > apps > search for Xbox app > click on it and select advanced options.

    After that, click repair and then reset

    Finally do this:

    Step 1: Open the Run window by pressing Windows + R key.

    Step 2: Input WSReset.exe in the Run window and click OK.

    Step 3: Then a command prompt window will appear. After a few seconds, Windows Store will open.

    Sign in again on both Microsoft store and Xbox app with your account and check if the issue persist
