How to remove accounts from xbox app on iPad and iPhone

Hi,

I recently logged into my daughter's iPad and downloaded the xbox app (and logged into it using my details)

When finished I signed out of the app but now each time I access the app on her device it allows me back into my account on the app without the need of a password! I have even tried deleting and re-installing the app and it still remembers me and I am able to access my account on that device without a password.

That is surely not right? How do I remove any trace of the account from a device?

This is really concerning as it effectively means if you log into a device which isn't your own you are tied to that device permanently!!

Unfortunately this doesn’t work either. Have tried multiple times.

Despite the warning of deleting the app will remove all of its data this doesnt apply to user accounts obviously.

I can log into the app, sign out, delete the app, reinstall the app and then am still able to access said previous account without any password.

I see, in that case I would recommend trying to delete and reinstall the app, this should clear any leftover account data that's allowing you to sign in without a password.

Thank you for the suggestion.

Xbox isn’t referenced here. In fact no password are.

I don’t mind that it is remembering recent accounts I suppose but no way should it be logging in without a password entry. The password field doesn’t even appear.

Hi! Your account details may have been saved to the iPad's password manager. Go to Settings > Passwords on the device, from there you can delete the account: https://support.apple.com/HT211146
