How to remove a Bug on the internet explorer app for the xbox one.

I had a problem with my internet explorer app a few days ago. I ended up clicking on a pop up that took me to a broken page, & pretty much everytime i tried to use the app it threw me to that same page which blocked me from using the app. I tried all the
steps from restoring the console to factory settings to erasing my account & recovering it still nothing. But i figure a way to erase the broken page, FIRST sign in with your account then go to settings. SECOND go to privacy & online safety scroll to the right
where is says web filtering, turn it to allow list only. Then open your internet explorer app, it should blocked the broken page. Go to settings delete your browsing history then delete the broken tab. It's not a common problem i see on the forums so i thought
i should share it with every one. Well i hope this helps anyone who is having this issue.

Microsoft is scaming there customers

hey all Microsoft will never fix there bugs theres heaps on the xbox one at first it was good untill they messed around and put buggy firmware on the xbox .

They say to remove the app how can you remove internet explorer if theres no option to

They system sucks everything sucks about **** .. they all about makeing money and ripping people off ..

1. Ie explorer crashers still

2. You gotta pay for another **** browser **** you ****

3.home screen now looks ugly stop messing with it

4. There should be a option to get old xbox one firmware if you dont want the update

5. Xbox is more of a network hogg then PlayStation 4

6. **** home crashes

7. There support sucks

8. No mods but yet you pay high amount of money and **** claims its there system

Ok last thing to say theres alot **** bugs FIX Your **** or im moveimg to PlayStation and **** YOU BILL GATES !

To be signed in to an Xbox Live account
At least 150 megabytes of available storage space

Download Internet Explorer

From Xbox Home, go to Apps and select Browse Apps.
Browse or search for Internet Explorer.
Select Internet Explorer to download the app.

The Unrated Content block removes the YouTube app from the app marketplace. Thus, it stands to reason that since YouTube can be accessed through Internet Explorer on Xbox Live, IE should also be blocked under the Unrated Content setting.

Also, the YouTube app no longer exists on the new dashboard - it is to be accessed through IE.

Think about it - nearly everything that is blocked on the Xbox Live "Family" menu can be accessed by Internet Explorer. Doesn't that render all of the Family safety settings useless?

Be the parent? Want to know how I'm the parent with our computers? By password-protecting full access to the internet. The new Xbox Live dashboard doesn't have this option.

It's likely that the error is due to Xbox 360 no longer being maintained. You can try to delete/re-download the IE. Kindly sign in to Xbox Live with your gamertag.

Delete Internet Explorer:

Restart your Xbox console.

Go to Settings and select System.

Select Storage.

Select All Devices.

Select Games and Apps.

Highlight Internet Explorer and Press Y.

Select Delete and choose Yes to delete all items for Internet Explorer.

Reinstall Internet Explorer:

From Xbox Home, go to Apps, and then select Browse Apps.

Browse or search for Internet Explorer.

Select Internet Explorer to download the app. When the download is complete, Internet Explorer automatically.
