    How to reduce input lag mouse movement on Xbox series x on several games


    I have an issue with input lag mouse movement on several games using mouse razer death adder v.2

    I think it's mouse acceleration lag as I overshoot the target location with the curser all the time

    I have tried tweaking all mouse settings in-game on games like fornite , Minecraft and Path of titans but this only helps a little and does not fix the problem completely, I have adjusted the mouse's polling rate as seen in another post this helped but did not fix totally ,

    The mouse works fine on my other pcs also I checked for correct nation type and connection lag witch are also fine but shouldn't matter anyway playing offline on Minecraft

    If the mouse is the issue then what should I buy instead?

    Based on the description, you are having issue with input lag when using mouse in your Xbox Series X device. Let us check and see on what we can do to help resolve your concern in a timely manner.

    Before we proceed any further, we would like to set your proper expectation that Xbox supports the use of mouse and keyboard in some games and apps, but it doesn’t work for all content. The game or app publisher must enable this feature for their content.

    Things to keep in mind while using mouse:

    • You can’t use a mouse on Home or within the Xbox user interface while navigating the dashboard.
    • You’ll need to use your controller to configure your mouse. Settings does not support mouse interaction.
    • Microsoft Edge works with a mouse but also has an on-screen cursor.

    As per description, that the mouse is working properly when connected with your PC and the issue is happening is when your mouse is connected to your Xbox console and the lag problems is noticeable to several games. The issue is in-game specific when using the mouse and it is possible that some feature is not currently supported with the game. What we can suggest is to use Xbox Wireless controller in playing the game. You may also try to configure your mouse by following the steps:

    • Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide.
    • Select Profile & system > Settings > Devices & connections.
    • Select Mouse. You’ll see options for pointer speed and for swapping primary and secondary mouse buttons.

    Your reply did not help at all, trying to answer somthing to wich you have no knowledge of seems kinda ridiculous to me why even bother? Did you score some points for this pointless answer?

    Trying to solve an issue with input lag with a mouse and your recommendation was to use a controller,

    I can't be the only one noticing this issue surly....

    He has no idea, propably he had no xbox either. There is I put lag and overshooting micro adjustments are skipping. The consoles have issues. Try lowering your polling rate it helps for a while. But not to the extend you would like.
