There is a problem. I recently attempted to login to my Xbox account, but it appears to have been taken! Although my Xbox has the account on it, it now says that I have a different email! I really need this account, so I would really appreciate some advice, since I don’t exactly know where to go from here. I’ve already tried using Microsoft Authenticator, but when I log in, it says it ran into a problem. Wishing the best, Aiden

Damn so even though I have proof of purchases and all the security answers to the account, that information was changed by a hacker and there is no way to get it back? I spent about 3 months filling out forms and racking my brain to answer every possible question on the recovery form and every time it was met with an unsuccessful response. I have genuine receipts to show ownership but they're not enough. It's just crazy to me that if your account is hacked it's gone forever, when other companies such as Google and AOL will help you recover a stolen account with serious support.

A few months ago one of my accounts was hacked by a user and they hijacked my account to firstmailer.net account. I apparently don't have enough info to recover the account.

However I am still being charged my monthly Game Pass subscription. I am unable to cancel this subscription because they refused to recover my account back to me.

Canceling the subscription from the Xbox side would require you having access to the account to login and cancel it.

If you are unable to recover the account then your only other option would be having your bank block any future charges.
