How to recover an account linked to my playstation when don't have email address or password

Sorry to hear about that, however, kindly note that since this is a public forum, most of us here are all end-users like you as well and have no access to accounts.

Once he links his PSN to a Microsoft account, he won't be able to use a different Microsoft account even if he unlinked them previously.

He needs to retrieve his Microsoft account by:

-Checking his emails to see the traces of his Microsoft account

-If he has PC, ask him to go to Settings > Accounts > Email and Accounts, to see all his Microsoft account

-If he added an alternate email address or mobile number, he can recover his username this way: https://account.live.com/username/recover

Unfortunately, gamertag isn't the only basis to retrieve an account, his last option is to provide as much detail as needed on this recovery form: https://account.live.com/acsr

I encouraged him to use the same device and internet connection where he usually logs in to his Microsoft account.

I don't have access to the email the account is linked to, Time Warner Cable had control of the email when they merged into Spectrum, so I lost the email and it was before 2 step verification was a thing. All I have is the email the account is linked too
and the Gamertag.

Don't feel bad. I am in the same situation. I have an alternate email address (that is not a hotmail address) that works. When I try to recover my password Microsoft tells me that because my email account is not a hotmail account they can not send me my
reset info. I have been trying to get my password reset for a month and a half. It's funny how you can reset your bank account password, your email password, and your billing password without issue, but something like a gaming profile password reset takes
an act of god and apparently Microsoft is not god.

Thanks for reaching out to us with this issue. I'm sorry that you seem to be having some difficulty in updating your account alias. If the email address that you wish to use has already been taken by another account that you don't have access to, then you
would not be able to choose to use it as the primary alias on your existing account.

That being said, you can always use a different email address that you do have access to as a new alias (email address for log in) on your current account or create a new email address to do so. I'm including some links in this post that may be of use to
