    how to re-install Gears of War 4 on XBox one ?


    I bought XBox one for my son in this black Friday. On the box, it says the Gears of War 4 is included. After open the box, we found the redeem card. My son used the code in the microsoft store and download and install the game.

    However, the game does not run. So my son want to re-install it. He first performed the un-installation. Unfortunately, after he uninstalled the game, he found he could not use the code to download the game again. It says the code has been redeemed.

    My son was upset for a whole day without a solution. Today is PA day and he was expecting to play the game. I wonder if anybody here knows how to download this game again and re-install it on the XBox ?

    I bought a XBOX one 1TB for my son on this black Friday. On the box, it says the Gears of War 4 game is included. When we opened the box, we found the redeem card. My son used the code and downloaded the Gears of War 4 and installed it on this xbox. However,
    the game can not run, so my son decided to re-install it.

    However, after my son un-install the game, he can not download it. He went to the store and tried to use the code again but it says the code has been redeem, and he could not download the game again.

    My son was upset for a whole day and frustrated without solution. I wonder if somebody here can help for this problem ? How can we download the game with the redeem card again ?

    Hey there,

    Don't fret, all Xbox Play Anywhere games such as Gears of War 4 play on both Xbox One and Windows 10 PC. First, make sure your Windows 10 PC has been fully updated with the Anniversary Update. You can find Windows updates by searching 'Check for updates'
    within the Start menu.

    Once you've done that, open the Windows Store and navigate to the Gears of War 4 product page to install the game. You must be signed into the same Microsoft Account that owns the Gears of War 4 license to be able to download and install the game on Windows
    10.

    Keep us posted how it goes!

    Ryse DLC Won't Stay Installed

    Same issue, I can confirm removal and re-installation was ineffective: other game selected for this troubleshooting (Gears of War 4) was successfully re-installed with all add-ons. Factory reset with 'keep games and apps' also failed to work.

    My console is an Xbox One Elite, running latest updates as of 6/9/2017: zero hardware modifications.
