How to properly package Xbox console for return

I requested a service order for my Xbox console last week and I got the shipping label to print in my email. The email states that I will receive another email with instructions to properly prepare my device for return but it's been about five days and
I still haven't gotten that email. The packaging part is important and I don't want to mess it up. If anyone has the instructions that I should have received, please let me know.

The instructions are basically to send only the console, anything else that is shipped with it is not guaranteed to be returned. That includes any boxes, etc. So you'll want to use a regular brown box or box that will fit the console and us bubble wrap/packing
materials to secure it. Don't send any cables or anything else.

Did the post office charge you when they took the package or did you put it in a drop box? If you put it in a drop box, I would recommend contacting the post office (in person) to see how the package will be handled. If your return address is on the label,
they may return the package to you, but you should make them aware of the situation. With proper identification, they may return the package to you so you can take it to UPS.

If your headset does not work properly. It is possible that you purchased a headset that is not compatible with Xbox. If it is compatible with Xbox, you will always find it on the packaging. If it is compatible with the Xbox, the label will be on the packaging.

Thanks for your reply. The information about backing-up was on an email from Microsoft with instructions regarding packaging for returning my Xbox Series S Console.
