    How to play Portal 2 on Xbox One?


    Hello,

    I am trying to sign in to play Portal 2, but it requires an Xbox 360 account. When I played the game on the 360 I was using another account, consequently, I don’t have the login to get into that one. How would I go about logging into my Xbox One account, so I can play online co-op and save my progress? I have the game on disc. Thanks

    Your Xbox One profile works as a Xbox 360 profile just fine. Do you know the email address and password for your Xbox One profile? If so, when the game asks you to sign in with your Xbox 360 profile, sign in with your Xbox One credentials and it will work.

    Yes you can play Portal 2 on Xbox One!

    It is a backwards Compatible Game which means, like many other Xbox 360 Games, it can be run and played on the Xbox One!

    Have you tried purchasing Portal 2 on the Xbox 360 Marketplace on Xbox.com? The link that Dracaryz provided above is currently the only way to purchase Portal 2 for Backwards Compatible play on your Xbox One console. Once you purchase the game from the Xbox
    360 Marketplace, you will be able to install it on your Xbox One through your 'Ready to install' list.
