How to play my games as I have the 0x803f9006?

I've just tried going through the DNS settings and this didn't work either, I'm not too sure if I have a network cable, My Xbox is upstairs and my router is downstairs, can I get a network cable long enough or do I have to get rwo and to connect them?

Hello Luke, you have your console connected by wi-fi or network cable, this is because this error usually happens when the console has problems validating on Live's servers to confirm your ownership status.

Try to check your internet connection, if the console is connected by wifi, try connecting it by network cable and then restart the console.

Another thing that can help is DNS, can you tell if you are using your service provider DNS or some public DNS like Google or Cloudflare.

Open the guide by pressing the Xbox button on your controller.

Select Profile & system > Settings > General > Network settings.

Select Advanced settings from the Network screen options.

I will try and find a network cable in a category thanks but my games were working earlier on today and they've been fine up until the late evening, are you sure that it'll be the WiFi that is weak?

As much as the 2.4Ghz Wi-Fi signal can go through walls, depending on the distance you may need a Wi-Fi amplifier to improve the signal.

If you choose a network cable, make sure it is category 6 and up and is shielded to avoid possible interference.

Hello again, the wi-fi signal does not have a constant direction, depending on the number of connected devices there may be less band left for the console, apart from external interference that can influence the signal.
